I lost my dad at a young age of 10years old.
I have a few good memories of my dad, what he looked like and how is was.

Every day is very hard for me, I think about him very single day.
He was a kind loving man, kept himself to himself.

The day he died i remember clearly, he was very poorly but i was not sure as i was so yound and
didnt understand much.

He was sitting in his chair in the dinning room, with sore feet in a bowl of warm water, my sister
and her husband of the time came round to drop off something my dad needed from the doctors and I
was asked if I would like to stay the night, which i love to do as they had a new baby of 4 months,
mitchel his name was.
So i said goodbye to everyone and went back to my sistes house.
Everything that evening was as normal.

Next morning we got up to have breakfast, I had rice crispies and felt hungry so I got another bowl,
as I did my mum and nan came round and went straight to the living room.

As i walked in afer them i was told to put my breakfast back in the kitchen, them my mum broke the
news that dad had gone. I was totally in shock, hugging my nan not knowing how i felt, it just didnt
sink in.

Either later that day or the next we went to see him, peacefull asleep he laid there in a light blue
slik grown. I felt so numb wishing i could have one last moment with my dad. we went there every day
sometime twice if i can remember, there was something not right about him, it was the way his hair
was, so I brushed it the right way, God I MISS YOU SO MUCH.

Every tuesday mum went to workout classes and we stayed at home and baked cake had had loads of fun
togther, i can remember it like it was yesterday, i was a daddys girl and his world changes so much
when I was born, mum said thats all he wanted was a little girl. I wish he was here now to see my
little girl who is now 4years old, Amelia rose bruce, as they say she is just like I was. I wonder
what he would think of her.

Every day i wish you was here. Ill never forget you Ilove you so much, will never for get the time
we spent togther
